CoCon Messaging-Services
CoCon is a software suite for conference management & assistance, that opens up a host of options and configuration setting to control every aspect of the meeting experience.
CoCon is connected to a central conference unit that controls a number of microphones and other conference equipment. The software interacts with the central conference unit to enable various functionalities and views on the conference. That is why CoCon is conceived as a client-server framework.
The CoCon Discussion Module serves as the base of the suite and is needed to run other plugin module.
CoCon Messaging [Client-side]
CoCon Messaging is an optional module that permits delegates on multimedia units to send messages to each other in a secured environment.
It puts a range of basic communication options at the participant’s fingertips. Users have an Inbox tab, a Sent Messages tab, and a details tab. Users are notified as soon as a message from another delegate arrives.
CoCon Messaging has been conceived with full control options in order to keep meetings structured and focused. Messaging can be turned off, delegates can be grouped, communications can be restricted to groups, parties, or delegates, and much more.
